15 years ago we began on a mission to make precision cutting easy and accessible to craftspeople everywhere. Today, we’re announcing the next chapter of our journey.

After a decade of close collaboration manufacturing Origin with Festool, and more recently on the production of BenchPilot, the Shaper and Festool teams have discovered a profound synergy. We share a deep commitment to quality, precision, and the art of craftsmanship, all driven by a singular focus: serving you, our valued customer. We've also learned that we often serve the very same passionate individuals who demand the best from their tools.

This shared vision has led us to an exciting conclusion: by joining forces, Shaper and Festool can unlock unprecedented possibilities for our users by blending Shaper's cutting-edge digital capabilities with Festool's century-long legacy of engineering excellence. 

Today we’re excited to announce that Shaper’s product lineup will officially move into the Festool portfolio beginning in 2027.

While the core Shaper brand and online stores will wind down later this year, we take immense pride in knowing that Shaper products will be a foundational part of Festool’s next great era.

To every customer, employee, and friend of Shaper who has poured their heart into this journey: thank you.
