We’re back with a few other exciting updates on Shaper Studio, which should be good news for all. We’ll cut right to the chase. Studio is now $99 $60/year. That’s right - for just $5 a month (paid annually) you can have unlimited access to a simplified digital design tool built for craftspeople, which works both with Shaper Origin, or any other digital fabrication tool you use. If you’re already a paying user, thank you! … In order to make up for this price change, we’ve gone ahead and extended every active Annual License (meaning active annual subscription) with an additional four months of free usage, after which your Annual License will renew at the new rate of $60 per year. New Pricing, Plain and Simple

Ok, that’s a lot of information. Here are our new Studio rates, simply stated: 

• Annual License option: $60/yr 

• Perpetual License option: $300 (one-time payment)

• Limited Time offer: Existing customers with an Annual License can purchase a Perpetual License for $200 (one-time payment) offer ending 11/30/2024 

And for anyone who does not have an Active Subscription or Perpetual License, you can still create as many designs as you’d like with Studio’s full set of features. You’re just limited to three exports per month.

Design is almost always an iterative process that begins with taking inspiration from sources around you – be it your environment, friends, teachers, or others. And one thing we’ve realized over the past couple of years is that oftentimes, the first step of a design is the hardest step. For many, it’s much easier to start with something than to start with a blank canvas. And so today we’re incredibly excited to announce file sharing on Studio. Any design, whether in process or complete, can now be shared directly with others, be it a cutting board profile, a hand-drawn font, or a shop fixture.
